Dublin Triangular Crystal Decanter Review

Customer Quotes:

Negative Comments:

  1. After buying this, a friend recommended that I do some research on it. Research for yourself. It was hard to find anything definitive, but I’m 90% sure this is correct. I’m pretty sure this item has lead in it. That means that you’re OK to serve beverages in it. However, you’re not recommended to store beverages in it for more than 4-5 days. You could get lead poisoning.
  2. Dublin Crystal Decanter – sounds like some Irish Crystal – wrong – at no point did they mention that it was made in China
  3. I feel on the one hand that I was misled by the description of the product, but at the same time I blame myself for not reading all the reviews. If I had known it was made in China, I never would have bought it. There’s no telling how much lead there is in this receptacle. I’ve learned from this big mistake. For shame, Amazon, for letting the blurb imply that it is something that it’s not. I will admit, however, that it is a beautiful piece of cut glass. Next time I buy a decanter, I will pay the big bucks and make sure I’m buying authentic Irish.

Positive Comments:

  1. I’m no expert on crystal but for the price this is well worth the money. It has so much sparkle and just enough weight that I’m not worried about it cracking.
  2. Listen, you’re paying around $20.00 for a “Crystal” decanter on Amazon… If you’re expecting a $300.00 Waterford cut crystal decanter, you’re an idiot and should evaluate how you’ve made it this far in life.
